National Library Workers Day (NLWD) is Tuesday, April 14th, 2026, a day for recognizing the valuable contributions made by library workers.
Each year, the San José Public Library Foundation drops care packages off at each of San José’s 25 branch library locations on NLWD. From every corner of San José and beyond, our community has sent in heartfelt postcards to thank the dedicated staff who keep our libraries running. Scroll down to see San José’s Love Letters to the Library and see the impact our SJPL staff makes every single day.
